Hello, my name is Chloe Paddock.

I have been a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the Health Care and Professionals Council (HCPC) and a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) since 2017. Over the last nine years, I have developed experience across a wide range of clinical areas such as early years, mainstream schools, specialist schools, child and adult learning disabilities including profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), aphasia, multisensory impairments (such as visual or hearing difficulties) and eating and drinking difficulties (dysphagia). I am highly specialist in the field of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (such as using paper-based communication aids or high-tech communication systems). I am experienced with Intensive Interaction and trained in Foundation Level Makaton signing, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Talking Mats and many other approaches.

I am based in West Sussex and I offer both in person and virtual video appointments.

My Approach

My approach to Speech and Language therapy is bespoke, person-centred and fun with an emphasis on functional and meaningful communication. I believe connection is the foundation for building communication skills, and so I place great importance on building rapport and connection with those I am working with. I am calm, patient and understand that your speech and language therapy support needs to work for you and your specific needs. These needs may change over time and so my support can change and flow alongside your needs.

Functional Communication

Good communication support enables people to develop useful and impactful communication skills relevant to their specific needs.

Meaningful Goals

We will work on your personalised communication goals to ensure that the skills developed have the potential to improve quality of life and well-being.
